Details

Metropole Zličín is a major shopping and leisure centre in western Prague, combining a large selection of retail stores with restaurants, cafés, entertainment and practical visitor services. Located beside the terminus of Metro Line B at Zličín, it is particularly convenient for visitors arriving from western Prague or travelling between the city and Prague Airport. Prague City Tourism describes the centre as offering around 200 shops and services, while the current official Westfield directory lists 133 individual shops.

Fashion is one of Metropole Zličín’s strongest categories, with retailers including H&M, C&A, New Yorker, Peek & Cloppenburg, Primark, Gant, Mohito, Jack & Jones, Levi’s, Humanic and Deichmann. The centre also covers sports, footwear, handbags and leather goods, beauty, jewellery and watches, home products, electronics and children’s goods.

For everyday shopping, visitors can use Albert Hypermarket, Marks & Spencer, Tchibo and specialist food stores. Electronics and technology options include DATART, iSTYLE Apple Premium Partner, Xiaomi and Smarty, while Sephora, Douglas, Rituals, L’Occitane and Estée Lauder strengthen the beauty offer.

Dining is another important part of the centre. The official directory currently lists 18 restaurants and food outlets, including Burger King, KFC, McDonald’s, Loving Hut, Pai Thai, Pizza Francesco, Sakura’s Running Sushi, Starbucks, Sushi Point and Bageterie Boulevard.

Entertainment makes Metropole Zličín more than a conventional shopping centre. Cinema City operates a 10-screen multiplex, while JUMP FAMILY Zličín provides children’s entertainment, professional childcare, workshops and birthday parties. Form Factory adds fitness facilities.

The centre also offers free Wi-Fi, lockers, gift cards, currency exchange, ATM facilities, charging for personal electronics, EV charging, wheelchair services, a children’s car rental service and an information desk. Two EV charging stations are available in the centre’s parking area.

Metropole Zličín opened in 2002 and was expanded in 2004. The development received the Best Shopping Centre Development award from Construction Journal in 2002, giving the centre a notable place in Prague’s modern retail history.

PraguePeek Tip
Metropole Zličín is especially practical for visitors staying in western Prague or travelling to and from the airport. Take Metro B to Zličín, then walk to the centre rather than taking a taxi. If driving, check the current free-parking allowance before staying for several hours. Families should also check the JUMP FAMILY schedule, while cinema visitors should follow Cinema City's programme rather than the centre's standard hours.
