Slovanský dům

Slovanský dům is a distinctive shopping and leisure destination on Prague’s prestigious Na Příkopě boulevard, combining premium shopping, restaurants, a multiplex cinema, offices and a remarkable Neo-Baroque garden in the historic heart of the city. The complex is particularly notable for bringing together a contemporary retail experience and historic architecture, with the garden offering a surprisingly peaceful setting just steps from one of Prague’s busiest shopping streets.

The shopping selection focuses on premium and fashion-oriented brands. The current official directory includes Nike, Weekend Max Mara, Baldinini, Cinque, Ceremony Kids, Ódyah Concept Store, PIP Studio, ALTA. and IQOS, alongside additional businesses and services.

Food is an important part of the destination. Restaurants include KOGO, Ambiente Brasileiro, Bašu Hotpot, BASU Sichuan Cuisine & Sushi, Dhaba Beas and Crystal Gardens, while Puro Gelato provides a dessert option. Crystal Gardens is particularly distinctive, occupying the garden area and combining dining and cocktails with an atmospheric floral interior and outdoor seating beneath the mature plane trees.

Entertainment is anchored by Cinema City, which has 10 cinema halls, including three equipped for 3D screenings. The complex also contains the Empire Hall conference and event venue, with more than 1,400 square metres of event space in a reconstructed Art Deco setting.

The garden is the destination’s defining feature. Its revitalised Neo-Baroque design incorporates mature plane trees and “Subtile,” an installation by Czech artist Federico Díaz, creating an unusual green retreat within central Prague.

The building’s history reaches back to 1695, when it was known as Vernier Palace, while its present façade dates to 1797 and is attributed to Paris architect Filip Heger. Today, Slovanský dům remains a multifunctional complex where shopping, dining, entertainment, business and historic surroundings meet.
