Galerie Butovice

Galerie Butovice is a modern shopping centre in Prague 5, offering more than 80 shops, services, dining and leisure facilities across two above-ground floors. Its location near Nové Butovice Metro makes it convenient for both local residents and visitors, while its combination of everyday shopping and entertainment gives it a broader appeal than a conventional shopping centre. Prague City Tourism highlights its varied retail selection, international food court and family facilities.

The shopping mix covers fashion, footwear, accessories, beauty, electronics, books, gifts, food and home furnishings. Fashion retailers include H&M, C&A, New Yorker, Sinsay, Takko, KiK and others, while the home and living selection includes XXXLutz, JYSK, Mountfield, SCANquilt, Svět spánku and Tescoma.

Galerie Butovice is also particularly useful for everyday shopping. The centre includes an Albert hypermarket, pharmacy, post office, parcel services, optical shops, beauty services and other practical businesses. The official directory also lists an EV charging station in the underground garage.

Food is another major part of the experience. The centre has a food court serving a range of international cuisines, alongside restaurants, cafés and food outlets. Coffee Gallery, Fruitisimo and Cukrárna Hájek & Hájková are among the food and beverage options listed by the centre.

Superland provides an indoor children’s entertainment area, while Butky Park extends the experience outdoors with a 16,000-square-metre multifunctional park featuring a children’s playground, sports facilities, food stands, events and relaxation areas.

The centre underwent a major renovation beginning in 2016, including improvements to the entrance foyer, shopping passages and food court. The expansion added approximately 15,000 square metres, bringing the overall area to around 50,000 square metres.
