Gruzie Restaurant is Prague’s oldest Georgian restaurant, bringing authentic Georgian hospitality and traditional Caucasian cuisine to the heart of the city’s historic Old Town. Located on Bílkova Street near the Jewish Quarter, the restaurant recreates the atmosphere of Georgia through handcrafted interiors inspired by Tbilisi, genuine recipes, live music, traditional dance performances, and a menu prepared by Georgian chefs. The kitchen is led by chef Neli Kokolashvili from Tbilisi, whose experience and passion focus on preserving authentic Georgian flavors while introducing creative seasonal specialties. Signature dishes include handmade khinkali dumplings, freshly baked khachapuri, charcoal-grilled shashlik, kharcho soup, pkhali, lobio, satsivi, homemade Georgian cheeses, and extensive selections of traditional Georgian wines produced using the ancient qvevri winemaking method. Live Georgian music and traditional dance performances are held from Thursday to Saturday, creating an immersive cultural experience alongside the cuisine.

The restaurant has expanded with a beautifully designed second floor inspired by Tbilisi, providing additional seating for celebrations, business dinners, and private events.
