Anonymous Bar

Anonymous Bar is a hidden cocktail destination in Prague’s Old Town where mixology, mystery and a carefully built story come together. Opened in 2012 as the first project of the Anonymous Concept, the bar calls itself a “Cocktail Revolution” and draws its identity from three themes: the 1605 Gunpowder Plot and Guy Fawkes, the V for Vendetta graphic novel and film, and the modern Anonymous movement. The interior is inspired by V’s hideout, creating a dark, intimate setting that feels deliberately removed from the busy streets outside.

The experience is centered on cocktails rather than dancing or a conventional party atmosphere. The current menu features a long list of signature creations, including Blackout, Domino Effect, Remember, Remember, The Symbol, V’s Dagger, Valhalla, Beneath the Mask and Orchestra, alongside seasonal or special drinks. Signature cocktails currently range from 245 to 385 CZK, while the wider menu includes an extensive selection of gin, rum, whisky, vodka, tequila, mezcal, cognac, absinthe, wine, sparkling wine, beer, coffee and soft drinks. The bar also offers premium and rare spirits, including high-priced aged bottles.

Anonymous Bar is a seated venue, making it better suited to conversation, cocktails and an immersive evening than a dance-floor night. Its unusual concept is reinforced by masked service and theatrical cocktail presentation, elements that are also reflected in recent visitor feedback. The bar is open daily from 17:00 to 02:00, with public holidays following Sunday hours. Advance booking is recommended on Fridays and Saturdays and for groups of more than eight; reservations are available only until 21:00.

Located at Michalská 12 in Prague 1, the bar is within easy walking distance of major Old Town sights and around four minutes from Můstek Metro Station. Its strongest appeal is the combination of a central location, themed storytelling, inventive cocktails and a genuinely distinctive atmosphere for curious travelers.
